I can’t begin to explain the mess of change that is my 2019. There’s been highs and lows, twists, missteps, tears and (lastly) hope. It’s not a tragedy by any means, but change sometimes means loss. With loss comes some freedom–freedom from what you were, responsibilities and stagnation. Loss is also jarring, painful and scary. You don’t know if you’ll be you on the other side. But, you know that you will be different.
