“Be afraid of the calmest person in the room.” — Bruce Lee

October is half over and what have I got to show for it? My plans have gone astray, my list of to-dos is undone and life doesn’t stop. It’s not all for nothing–I have accomplished some things, but it rarely feels like enough. Maybe it’s the world we live in, the constant new hotness and endless social feeds that I’m browsing to find these link-y gems. It breeds an ever-present vibe of not enough. If I’m being honest, I’ve felt this way before. When reading about the great masters and their output–I always had this odd notion that I needed to step up my game. It motivated me then. It still does… but I’m more realistic, or honest now. When I was younger, I could brute force projects into life. Now, I have to be strategic and focus my efforts in order to take projects from nothing to reality. Look around, enjoy and then back to the grind.
